ok, your not allowed to call yourself a artist... that's a title that can be given to you only by those that see and are affected by what you make. People, society gets to decide who is an artist and what is art, not the person who is painting. Even if a hundred people say to your face "you are an artist" you still can't call yourself an artist. You can only say that your a "painter or sketcher, sculptor, ect." The only reason im saying this to you is because i think you have something but by referring to yourself as an artist you only cheapen your work. Self proclaimed entitlement is lame. Art only becomes art after it has been seen until then, its something else.
Emily!! You are clearly brilliant, and I believe that your artwork will be not only a force for change, but also a priceless catalogue of our times. I'm a big fan! Thank you for all that you do!! Are you selling prints? I really want to buy some!!
love your style and you're an artist as far as im concerned...im just getting into illustration myself and would love you to check out the [ridiculously] little i've done - keep it up
As Ralph Kramden used to say to his wife Alice:" Baby, you're the greatest!"
